This can become an antiviral, antibacterial property in the human body to keep it healthy. It also has 7% capric acid. This has been studied for its antiviral effects against the HIV virus, herpes, and other sexually transmitted diseases. Coconut oil also contains CNO which is a saturated fat. CNO can be digested much faster than unsaturated fats. It can be absorbed instantly and taken to the liver to release energy. Coconut oil is perfect for those people having digestion problem. The CNO also absorbs calcium and magnesium much better and this is necessary for bone development in infants. Coconut oil has also been used by islanders to heal wounds or swollen parts of the body.
